A visa is issued by The Austral Goverment based on reciprocity. A visa entitles the holder to travel to the Austral Territory and apply for admission; it does NOT guarantee entry. An immigration inspector at the port of entry determines the visa holder's eligibility for admission into the Austral Territory.
Who needs a visa?
Anyone who is not eligible to enter the Austral Territory visa free under the Visa Free Program ( VFP), or is not exempt from the visa requirement. Please note: Travelers born in the Austral Territory and those who hold dual citizenship with Austral must enter and depart from Austral using Austral Passaport.
What type of visas are available?
Nonimmigrant Visas:
A nonimmigration visa is required of anyone who wishes to enter the Austral Territory to visit, work or study for a temporary period.

Immigrant Visas:
An immigrant visa is required of anyone who wishes to enter the Austral Territory to reside there permanently.
Residence Visa ( Marriage/ Civil Partnership with an australis citizen, son or daughter of an australis citizen)
Investor Visa (Persons who will invest a minimum of A$ 1000)
Exception from the visa requirement
Foreign government officials, officials and employees of international organizations.
Visa Free Program (VFP)
Travelers coming to Austral for tourism or business for 90 days or less from qualified countries may be eligible to visit the Austral Territory without a visa.
